Let’s get personal with two unique talents carving a niche for themselves across two countries – India and Malaysia. Chef Avinash Martins from Goa, India, and Ankita Aggarwal from Malaysia.
Chef Martins started his culinary education with the Merit Swiss Asian School of Hotel Management in Ooty, completing his Post graduation from the Oberoi Centre for Learning & Development, and thereafter joining the Oberoi Group and working across their resorts all over India.
Chef Avinash worked and trained under Michelin star chefs like Chef Georges Blanc in Lyon, France, Chef Gary Danko in Hawaii, Chef Thomas Keller in the Napa Valley, California, also participating in Chaine De Rottiseiurs events in the USA. His boutique concept restaurant in Goa – Cavatina – is the toast of the cogniscenti.
Ankita Aggarwal believes, “What You Eat is What You Are.” Her restaurant WAVES Cafe is her latest contribution to the culinary scene in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Growing up in a family passionate about food and celebrating festivals, Ankita’s cooking philosophy is deeply influenced by health, home cooking and bringing together spices to narrate a story.
