Devoting eight years of her life to volunteering for Balo in the slums of Kolkata, fundraising for Linkage to support street teens in Yangon, JULIE DAS returned to Malaysia in 2017. Continuing her part-time job as a French teacher at an international school, and devoting all her time to humanitarian causes, Julie immersed herself in helping 700 odd Afghan families in Malaysia which include distressed women, jobless men, hungry families and children with no access to food or education. As Founder of Greater Action, Julie believes there’s a greater give back needed to support the less fortunate.
