Manish Arora always leaves you wanting more. And he does this time again with a stunning collection `Ready for Love‘ at  Paris Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2018. Collaborating with  Zoya, the Diamond Boutique from the House of Tata, Manish Arora put up a collection born out of a natural synergy in design philosophy and a distinctly contemporary, international outlook that both he and Zoya share as brands.

“Our Spring Summer 2018 reflects fun and luxury with elements like hearts, stars, feathers and flowers. The collaboration with Zoya Jewellery is a creative fusion of similar vision achieved using different mediums. I am looking forward to the show where we’ll get to see this dreamy amalgamation,” said Arora at a city preview before he left India for the Paris event. Today, he stunned.

In an amorous mood for spring, his pastel-infused `Ready for Love’ collection was a joyous riot of vintage-inspired psychedelic prints, elaborate embroideries, rich brocades, sequined motifs and middle eastern references.

Luxurious sleepwear-inspired designs with a dream-catcher pattern mingled with guipure gowns covered in hearts, kitschy embellished knitwear and embroidered denim jackets. Sequined boxer shorts, pants and dresses, brocade or printed bombers and a chain-mail top made up of interlinked embroidered hands all contributed to the festivities.

Skirts and dresses in mid-calf and floor-length designs, either flowing or wrapped around the body. A fashion journalist with WWD says, “The transparency that is all over the Paris runways was interpreted in washed out fluorescent or gold layerals of tulle that softened up certain looks. Arora managed to evoke femininity and frivolity in one fell swoop with this rainbow of a collection, a welcome ray of sunshine in contrast with the rainy Paris day outside today.” Ramp photographs say it all. Take a bow, Manish, take a bow.

Can’t wait to see another one of my favourites,Rahul Mishra also due to show at PFWS/S2018.
